We are thrilled to reveal that acclaimed international bestselling author, Lynda La Plante, will be joining us for a very special Book Club.  In what is sure to be an unmissable event, the indisputable Queen of Drama, will be sharing her extraordinary life and writing career. Lynda only appears at a very select number of events, so we are privileged and delighted to be welcoming her soon. 

An audience Q&A will follow the main talk and there will be an opportunity to purchase Lynda’s latest book, Pure Evil, two weeks before the official release date. Don’t miss this incredible opportunity to meet the author and get a signed copy by Lynda herself.   

Joe Haddow returns as our fantastic Book Club host for the evening. Joe is an author and broadcaster; he runs the Radio 2 Book Club, chairs literary events across the country and is the host of the popular Book Off! Podcast.  

Early arrival is recommended. Pre-drinks and refreshments will be available to purchase on the night from 7pm. No pre-reading is required – just book your ticket and come along.

Lynda La Plante 

Lynda was born in Liverpool. She trained for the stage at RADA and worked with the National Theatre and RDC before becoming a television actress. She then turned to writing and made her breakthrough with the phenomenally successful TV series Widows. Her novels have all been international bestsellers. 

A member of The Crime Thriller Awards Hall of Fame, Lynda is truly crime fiction royalty. She is responsible for hours of primetime TV, including the perennially popular Prime Suspect.
